As the title suggests, this bandsaw has a 3HP motor, rust-free surfaces, tool-less adjustable roller bearing guides (not the cheap euro-ceramic guides that most users replace on other bandsaws), and a footbrake. It’s got a 15” capacity, which is more than most woodworkers need. It’s a beast, what more could you want?!?

Plan to have two people set the tabletop in place. The rest can be done by one person, although two people make it much safer to remove it from the pallet. Plan on a good mobile base with four swivel wheels, unless you have the space to set it and never move it again.

Setup wasnt very difficult, needed help putting the bolts through when mounting the table, delivery was insanley fast (within a week for me) no issues or complaints. Only suggestion I have is give options for different plugs (like twist lock nema 6-20L) from factory. This machine is very well thought out and gorgeous.

Super impressed with the quality of the bandsaw as well as the packaging.. I’ve only got to use it a couple times but very pleased with the results. I would recommend 100% it’s worth every penny.

This is a great bandsaw. I was testing the ability of the saw after I set it up and was surprised to see that when I set it up at 1/16” I measured a consistent 0.062” with my caliper across a 4” thickness. That’s impressive. Thanks

This is a first class band saw and I’m very excited to have something this nice! Set up took a little longer than I expected since I bought the spider base and had to cut some squares of plywood to raise the feet up a bit so the bottom bandsaw door would clear the cylinder and open. No biggie

The ALPHA HW615Pro is a fantastic upgrade.
This is my first new bandsaw in 29 years, I use them every day.
This bandsaw is leading the pack by changing the norm and adding features to make the use of the machine a joy. Some of these features making work easier are the addition of the strut and wheel to adjust the angle of the bed, adjusting the bearings, changing blades, adjusting the fence for different cuts, and the nickel plated bed.
