The miter gauge is very well-made and engineered. It is sturdy and well built. I can’t find a flimsy or cheap part on it.

The product arrived in immaculate packaging; it was like opening an iPhone. It has crisp machining, beautiful anodized finishes, with tight solid movement. Cuts are accurate and so easy to setup. This was my Harvey test piece, was so impressed I ordered my new Harvey bandsaw today.
I gotta say that Harvey is one of the best at customer service I have ever used. I exchanged a COMPASS MG-36P for a COMPASS MG-36Pro. Harvey did the exchange without any questions. When I buy a table saw, band saw, or router table I will be buying a Harvey for sure. Thank You Harvey...

Just received my new Harvey miter gauge for my industrial SawStop. I'm currently using an INCRA 1000HD. The new gauge is beautiful. If I switch from L to R miter slot, I don't have to try to remember what size Allen wrench I need to slide the fence over, since the Harvey has nicely knurled knobs to do that job. I suspect that Harvey makes the sliding table sold by SawStop, since it is identical. SawStop should make this their standard miter gauge. I recently made a couple of picture frames, using the 45 degree detents in both directions....the miters were perfect. The finish and anodizing are superb.

I purchased the COMPASS MG-36PRO a few weeks ago and I’ve used it extensively since. It was packaged extremely well and each component was nestled in its own foam cutout. I own a couple other miter gauges and none arrived as well protected as this did. It took only a few minutes to assemble and I checked the zero/square setting and was delighted to see that it was spot on. Other settings were precisely set as well. The miter bar was easy to adjust to my saw’s miter slot and there is absolutely no movement. This is a beautifully machined miter gauge and well worth the price. I’ll look to Harvey Woodworking for my next woodworking purchase.
