The G-800 dust processor has met and perhaps exceeded our expectations. Our main goal was to reduce the noise level in the work shop. We've been running the processor at 3500 rpm's and are able to carry on a normal conversation while standing next to the machine. I've had my hearing protection while working and had to check the machine to make sure that it was on since it is so quiet. With our previous collector, there was never any doubt that the machine was running, even when I had hearing protection on. The G-800 seems to be handling the dust collection when using multiple tools at the same time better than the previous collector. We've not changed the ductwork yet so we may get better collection once that is done. We also have the ability to increase the rpms so that may help if we feel the the G-800 isn't keeping pace with the machines being used.
We've not used the machine for very long, but over-all, it's been a super-positive purchase for the club.
