Great zero clearance insert.
The insert fits perfectly since it made by the manufacturer for this saw. It has all the adjustments the regular insert has with the added benefit of being zero clearance. I'd like to see a version made with a removable zero clearance portion, made of mdf or plastic. This would allow for replacement of the disposable portion. Otherwise if I want an insert for cutting at a 45° or other angle I would need to buy another insert and they are pricey.

Quality products and excellent customer service.
I am using the Zero-clearance insert in the Harvey Alpha 3hp table saw. It works well once adjusted. I really like the fact that it has nylon set screws in the side of the insert so that the insert returns to the exact same position when removed and replaced. Tech support responds quickly, sometimes within minutes.

Very nice made
An aluminum zero clearance insert, next level!! Gifts from the manufacturer for spending money is nice(bought a router table package), but this one I cannot use so I gave it away to Harvey table saw owner. Thank you Harvey!
A necessity to any table saw. Another high quality item from Harvey. Very easy to adjust and fit. The side screws are a nice feature. Makes the insert fit precisely when switching in and out. Very satisfied, once again.
As much as I would like to say it was a great addition to my 4HP 52" SS Big Eye Harvey saw, I unfortunately don't own one. However, this zero clearance insert plate was a perfect fit on my Laguna Platinum saw. As expected fit and finish was perfect. Thanks for the great solution!
The insert is identical to the one that comes with the saw, sans slot for the blade. My only complaint/suggestion is the lack of instructions, something like: 1) This insert is cast aluminum and can be cut using a carbide tipped blade, 2) Remove the riving knife, 3) Secure the riving knife end to the table with some tape, the other is held by a screw, to prevent the insert from jumping out of place, 4) With the saw on, SLOWLY raise the blade, cutting the slot in the insert, to its highest point.
Who knew that a zero clearance insert could be improved. All the ones I’ve used worked fine but they move slightly when placed in the throat of the saw. This causes the original cut in the plate to widen. Harvey’s plate has small nylon set screws on the sides. Once the plate is adjusted, it goes in tight and always in the same position. You can’t see the screws when looking on their website so I included a picture
